Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro: What Should You Buy?

Windows 10 is the latest OS from Microsoft, and almost everyone would love to use the new software. Although there was a chance of upgrading to Windows 10 for free, the deadline passed, but you need not worry, as the software is not so expensive. If you are looking forward to buying Windows 10 or preferably to upgrade the OS on an old device, here are your options.

Windows 10 Home

As the name suggests, this is the basic version dedicated to home users looking for essential computing functions. It comes with basic features such as Cortana, Microsoft Edge, Snap Assist, Device Encryption and Windows Hello, which allows you to log into your PC via face or fingerprint scanner. It also offers game streaming and basic features. Windows 10 Home is the cheapest, bu there are compromises.

Windows 10 Pro

This edition is a little bit expensive, but it comes with extra features the Home edition lacks. Windows 10 Pro comes with five additional features. One of them is BitLocker whole-disk encryption, which shields your PC from malware and virus attacks. It also comes with Hyper-V for virtualization, Enterprise Mode, IE, and Remote Desktop, which is Windows’ hub for business and assigned access. The Pro version also has Network Admin which schedules updates, so that they won’t happen during busy times.

Windows 7

Why Windows 7 on a Windows 10 topic? Not everyone embraces change, so for Windows 7 fans, you can still get it at a pocket-friendly price. If you are still comfortable with Windows 7, don’t shy off thinking it is outdated, it still is a fantastic software program.
